Welcome to the Department of Bioengineering website.

Bioengineering is an interdisciplinary department that applies an engineering approach to biology, medical systems, biotechnology and other related technologies.

Our Department, affiliated with the Institute of Science and Technology, which has the distinction of being the "first Department of Bioengineering" in our country, offers postgraduate Science Specialization and Doctorate education programs. The language of instruction is Turkish, and our academic staff currently consists of 26 professors, 5 associate professors and 2 doctor faculty members from 14 different departments.
